Impove Performance of Computer : Folder Setting

In my last post "Visual Setting : Way to Increase  performance of Your Computer" I had explained changing visual setting, you can increase speed of your computer. Now, I am explaining "File and folder setting " speed up your computer.
In windwos xp and windwos vista and windows 7 too, there are too many optional setting about files and folder apperence and view. Although, some of them are very useful, most of them we do not use or rarely use. So, by disabling such cumbersome setting you can speed Up your computer. Here is the procedure in easy steps :

1) open 'computer' and select 'Organize'

2) Select 'Folder and Search Option'

3) A pop up Winnow appear. Select 'view' from tab bar.

4) Now, from advanced setting disable following options :

a) Display file size information in folder tips.
b) Display simple folder view in Navigation pane.
c) Hide extensions for known file types.
d) Show encrypted or compressed NTFS files in color.
e) Show pop-up description for folder and desktop items.

You can change other setting as per your requirement.

Now, performance of your computer increased.
